In the last frame when Hull needed snookers, Evans made a couple of excellent escapes from very difficult ones. So it seems like she has a good all around game. Where she might lack a bit is in the ability to make very big breaks, but the same can be said for most male players outside of the top 30 or 40. She definitely isn't a top 16 player, but given the chance I think she could be a top 64 player and play on the tour.

He knocks them in for fun in practice
It's hard to pot balls with a Chimpanzee tea party going on in your head

Michael White leads Aditya Mehta already 8-0. I really wouldn't have thought the Welshman would beat the Indian that easily.

I was about to post the same. Obvious Michael White has found his form again recently, but Mehta has been on a downwards slide ever since he lost to Ding in that PTC-final.

I think the guy has been suffering with a back/neck problem - might be wrong

I googled him and you´re right he´s been struggling with back/neck problems since 2014.

The first huge surprise is on the horizon. Ricky Walden trails Hammad Miah 6-8.

                        9-6 now
Miah playing solid stuff and beating Walden at the safeties.

Peter Lines , final frame decider, would be a decent upset against Un Nooh
This is how you play darts ,MVG two nines in the same match!

And Lines is through to the next round. Disappointing end to a disappointing season for Un Nooh, who was good only in his first two tournaments of this season.
Lines will play Gary Wilson next, who beat Josh Boileau 10-9 himself, despite being already 7-2 up after the first session.

Wow, that was it. Miah beats Walden 10-7.
Meanwhile 15-year-old Jackson Page is in a decider against Martin O'Donnell. And the winner of this match will come up against Miah in the 2nd round.
