If a boxer fought with a dislocated thumb or whatever he won't have full confidence in his punch either and would not fight to his potential. No different here.

Wouldn't blame Trump for just conceding the match and heading home. He's not winning this match, not playing well enough, in pain, against a player who will do anything to win, why bother waiting around tonight to see when you might get on the table, it could be 11pm.
