    Craziness!
Fair play to Higgins tho, he's just getting on with it.

    • Very interesting stuff. I think Higgins should be delighted with 10-6 under the circumstances.

      • Great effort(s) from Barry to get the snooker in that final frame, but to no avail. 10 - 6 to John now, I wouldn't fancy a bet against him. Must admit, a Higgins v Selby final is a mouthwatering prospect for me, but I'm still torn between Mark and Ding. *sigh*

        The fast and the furious,
        The slow and labourious,
All of us, glorious parts of the whole!

        • Brave fight by Barry to get that important frame, but it wasn't meant to be. But Higgins played as always very well in the safety department and at 10-6 has now a great chance to get into his first World Championship Final in 6 years.

Me too. While it's great it's hard to choose with probably my three favorite players all in the semifinals. Would love to see winning Selby a third title and also a Selby - Higgins final, but even more I'd love see Ding finally winning his first World Championship.

I'd be happy to see any of the remaining players win. I still think Selby is underrated, so I'm always pleased to see him extend his lead at the top and give his critics something else to chew. It would be legendary if Higgins could win a 5th title and pull level with O'Sullivan nearly 20 years after winning his first. Ding would clearly be a very deserving champion, this is obviously the only honour missing from his distinguished career. Also, Hawkins seems like a nice guy and winning the title would do a great deal to raise his profile.

                  Damn it!

Cracking last frame there - very tense stuff.

                  • Is it my imagination, or has the one table setup been different in the past? I remember the table being perpendicular to the way it is now. (not parallel to the two tables used in the earlier rounds)

Am I just imagining that or did it change this year?

                    • Fantastic safety duel to start the session. The cueball control those two possess is amazing. Great skills.

                          • It's a pity. Ding this time comes out as the winner in the tactical battle, but misses his chances.

                            • The frustration is that Selby isn't a great, he is just the best of a very average bunch right now who plays very good percentages snooker. We need somebody else to emerge urgently.
