The only question now with Ding admitting it was deliberate is was that ungentlemanly? In my view to a lesser opponent yes, against Ronnie? no ROS would probably have smiled and appreciated but against Selby?? If the referee had pulled him on it there would have been no advantage either as it would require further warnings to receive any penalty.
