I don't think ROS has played well all week tbh. All his opponents gave him huge leads or were unlucky. Maguire winning a 3rd in a row could spell trouble.

He's played superbly in spurts, just not for an entire match, though he didn't play badly today or yesterday.

I once sent my cue to have a new tip fitted...I got a phone call saying was it in 2 pieces when I posted it?

I checked and the Butt was very much still at home :-(

So although it sounds odd...it may have been shipped and damaged that way (at the time I was a student so tried to scrimp on postage too so was only able to claim back £27 from Royal Mail)!

I wonder if there is anyway for the pro's to insure against that sort of thing (am thinking that Stephen Hendry could argue for example that he was never the same player after his cue was damaged).

Murphy has played superbly this week. Admittedly the draw has opened up for him with the top seeds crashing out but he is cueing very well.

Im sure he said it was in Thailand if i remember correctly which would more than likely be Master cues.

Why do you say Master Cue ?? i very much doubt he uses one of those, more likely Ton Praram ??
