I like seeing players come through as you never know how they'll react to a win like this. It would be good to see him build on it and win a couple more.

Brilliant, just finished watching catch up. Great performance wasn't it. We know all these guys can play and it's a matter of consistency, but wins like that can build confidence enough to break through.

Went to see Jimmy and Judd - couldn;t get into Jimmy's match "full" - then they let the same people come and go as they please thoughout the session and retake their seats after the interval, despite supposedly unreserved seating, general admission. Left Judd after three frames because it was so utterly dismal - he and Wakelin were competing to see who could break down the quickest, and lucky for Trump, Wakelin scarcely managed a 30 break.

I'm not a fan of the new graphics either. Its a bit intrusive and there was nothing wrong with the way it was before. Nice and subtle but easily readable. Also, what I hate the most are the pathetic cut scenes between a replay and the live action. Like some dodgy 90's PowerPoint transition. Its utterly cack. Eurosport are certainly becoming the channel of choice over the BBC. Its the lack of adverts that only see me go back to it at times.

Ah call me old fashioned or a traditionalist but I still love watching snooker on the Beeb with all the old dogs and of course our lovely Hazel. Cant beat it :snooker:
