Just watching the Masters and that table is running unbelievably well. The skid is incredible and the bounce off the cushion is sweeeeeeeeet!
If only our league venues would just try a little bit to replicate this! You don't need a new cloth by the way...just a clean one. I don't mean bb&iron. Oh and dirty mixed up match balls!

The Masters is always so tough to predict.

would have been my semifinal picks.


I always have the issue with the Masters that there are only 16 players. It's true that those are the best of the world, but still it feels very small for such an important tournament and you only have four matches to win (it's true that at the World Championship it's only five as well, but there the matches are longer). There is also nothing like a build-up stage, it's top players against each other from the start and I'm not a fan of it.

Is this ref just generally unpopular with the players? I know Ronnie O'Sullivan doesn't like him, seemed like Selby wasn't much of a fan either.

I think you may be are mixing up refs, ROS does not like (or if you believe his latest announcements, he does now) another referee who he had a go at the table about not walking in front of him.
