Yeah, that was not my best moment. I was so sure the matches were best-of-17 that I didn't even bother double checking last night. I would have probably gone with 10-7 and 10-6 if I had. I also didn't check the start time for this morning, so I overslept and had to watch it back.
It was a bit of a struggle after the interval, but I think it's probably for the best that Wilson won both of the really scrappy frames, because there is now still half a chance he makes a match of it in the second session. Robertson and Hawkins were much more fluent (though I missed the first few frames, unfortunately ), mostly one or two-visit stuff from what I saw. I might actually watch that as the main match this afternoon now.
6 - 5 Selby, Kyren's becoming a bit of a comeback specialist isn't he. Game most certainly on now, and he's in again. He now seems to be up against the Selby we've seen for most of this season, interesting....

The fast and the furious,

All of us, glorious parts of the whole!
Mike Hallet's an awful commentator. He's constantly arguing with himself and comes out with ridiculous statements like, "Well, Kyren will be wishing he potted that red to the middle now." after letting Selby back in.
What, you mean the one he tried to pot to the middle? He's wishing he potted that, is he? Thanks for clearing that up, Mike. I was under the impression he was glad he'd missed it.
"Kryten, isn't it round about this time of year that your head goes back to the lab for retuning?"

Turn him off Billy, otherwise he'll drive you insane, the guy's a headfeck.

And The Hawk finally goes 8 - 5 up on the Melbourne Mincer. I used to enjoy watching Robertson, but these days I find him one of the most annoying players on the circuit. C'mon Barry, bury'im!

I would but I can't watch silent snooker. Without those clicks it's just odd.
Well, it's your sanity mate, but it ain't worth it for me, I'll go with silence over Hallett any day of any year. Luckily though I have the eurosport player connected to my big screen, so I can watch their add and commentary free feed instead.

At least you have options. My Eurosport just cut to Bundesliga football in the middle of the match without any warning.
