Did I just hear the ref ask Dominic if he hit the near-touching red after playing his shot? Dominic said he wasn't sure and then the ref said, "I think you did hit it."

So why did she ask?

Incidently, he clearly didn't make contact with it. He played away as though touching-ball, but it wasn't.

I think it was she said foul, he queried and she said no he had not hit the red

Lots of surprises here again and some rather unfamiliar names going on. We had no less then players of 12 different "countries" in the third round and already five different flags in the round of 16. Nice.
