I haven't followed the league in years, but last time I did i'm pretty sure it was also best of 4 in the group stages.

Is this televised? [edit] Never mind. I see it's on ITV4

I'm utterly lost as to what's happening now, where we are, when things are happening etc etc etc.

This is going to be weird. I know we got a taste of audience-free snooker just before the lockdown hit, but this will still take some getting used to.

Anyone notice the his and his extensions located at the black end of the table?

Looks like Judd's sleeping pattern has been all over the place, as it has for most of us, if those eyes are any clue

they have two sets of extensions and accessories, one for each - good idea
wont work down the club though

Looks like Trump has stolen Terry Griffiths' hair and glued it on in a hurry
Speak up, you've got to speak up against the madness, you've got speak your mind if you dare
but don't try to get yourself elected, for if you do you'll have to cut your hair

Judd's hair style is better. I have a question.

What's the point in using separate rests when both players touch the table/baize?

He's gone full bouffant, never go full bouffant.

It's all a bit daft but they have to be seen to be following 'guidelines'. I suppose you could argue it restricts the number of surfaces they both come into contact with.

Would have thought they would just swap out the rest sets with new sets, stands and all, then the cleaning can be done at leisure behind the scenes ready for the next match.

The table lighting is a bit weird. Its too bright and green and I can barely distinguish the pink from the reds....
Customised full size Riley table with black pockets and Strachen 6811 Tournament Cloth all housed in an air-conditioned 8m x 5m Grande Servern Plus log cabin from Dunster House supported with RSJ's.

I take it frame score can not be a way of separating who goes through and who doesn't. Trump wins 3-0 so doesn't play the fourth frame, but then if he's winning 2-1 in the next match he has to play the fourth , so he wins 3-1 , that's not fair on the first opponent as he too could have lost 3-1 but didn't get the chance to play the fourth frame.
