This only confirms what i thought years ago when players complained about playing in ‘ cubicles ‘ , was it mark allen anthony hamilton and maybe a few others , always thought the complaint was a load of bollocks , trying to sound interesting etc like there’s something overly glamorous in their outside live’s , its paid competitive practice in the best of conditions , never saw the problem at all .

I’m sure they will have taken lots of advice from “the scientists” and will learn a lot from the tournament. I would have thought that once the players had tested negative and were within the stadium then all the table rail cleaning etc is a bit of an overkill. Maybe they just had to go that route to satisfy people who didn’t know much about snooker.
Anyway anything that babe Jenny Harries says is ok with me lol.

              "babe Harries"
I was just thinking purely for timing, if they are after a quick roll-on-roll-off, then replacing the sets with fresh ones and then clean in the background would be better

Its definitely not your TV settings. My dad and a friend have both text me the same. I initially calibrated my TV around snooker and it always looks bang on. This looks bizarre....but still good to have it back on our screens!

A person could test -ve one day and +ve the next day. A one time test to ascertain that a person is not infectious is not 100% TBH. I know I am being a bit too critical but hey safety comes first. On the other hand, who doesn't like snooker to return?

Just going through the 2 year ranking list can anyone see any british player currently not in the top 32 ever getting into the top 8 - 12 of the rankings , ricky walden perhaps but i’d guess his fall is just temporary he’s very much a retread , sam craigie perhaps or jak jones ? , all looks a bit sorry tbh .

I bet Hendry and Foulds were glad they signed up for this.....because of the round robin format and no intervals, they are not getting a chance to be pundits!

What are the red wristbands for?

                            shows you’ve tested negative.

Oh. Seems a bit pointless. It's not like if any of them test positive they'll let them take part, only with a green wristband to let other's know they're infected.

And wouldn't it be the other way round anyway? Green for negative, red for positive?
