Nothing to do with facial hair, who cares tbh, I think Ronnie was on fire, Relaxed, focused and deadly, superb snooker.

After watching most of this tourney I'm really surprised at how easy it has been for the top players. The gulf in class has been so obvious, I thought there being no crowd would help the lower ranked pros with the nerves etc but if anything it seems to have made them play even more like rabbits in the headlights. It just goes to show how good these top players are as the lower ranked ones would look like world beaters if they walked into your club, yet they look average against the top boys.

Ronnie said in his post match interview that he was bored sitting in his room for most of the day. Wonder if he’ll go home for a couple of days. Doesn’t play till Tuesday.
He also said that if every tournament was going to be like this he probably wouldn’t play.
I heard that Brecel had gone home and was driving back for his match next week. Assume he’ll have to re-test.
