Alex, do you have a spreadsheet ready? Maybe after the qualifiers (or even now) you should start a new thread publishing/updating the rankings as it goes like was done last year? Would be interesting to follow that...
I was at the qualifiers today and saw a very good match with Barry Hawkins and Andy Hicks. Barry is my favourite player and I was pleased he won but Andy played quite well also. The first session could have been worse for Barry as he should have gone 3-6 behind which would have made it tough for the second session.
There should be some very good snooker tomorrow with Jimmy playing, along with Dale, Parrott and what could be the match of the round Cope versus O'Brien.
It would be great if it was match of the round as that would imply a good perfromance from Jimmy. My head says Mark King wil win comfortably however, so can't see it being match of the round. I'll be surprised, but pleasantly so!
I'd agree with previous comment on O'Brien - Cope which could be a cracker. Cope is some player and his performance in beating John Higgins in UK is one of the best I've ever seen - No exaggeration. He is somewhat inconsistent however. O'Brien can play excellent snooker and played some great stuff in NI trophy.
So far, Allen - Walden was perhaps best match, although Trump-Swail was also good in terms of going to decider and a typical Swail comeback. :-)
