He can still play a bit; he played well at the crucible last year. Hopefully he can keep going in this match to qualify and do the same again...

It would be amazing if he wins and draws Davis again...

          • Jimmy hit rock bottom this time...
            He can't handle the pressure...
He didn't qualify for a single event...
I'm tired of him saying is he's doing well in practice...

Jimmy was a brilliant player, a true entertainer, a real crowd puller, but sadly I realized everything comes to an end...

                • Would be quite amazing if Liu Chuang wins this match! This is his first season as a pro, he would be the third youngest ever at the WC, after Hendry and O'Sullivan.

Whats even more amazing is the fact that he's lost in the first round of every other tournament this season, current ranked last of all players, at no. 96.

                        What?
Only Ashley Wright lost all his first round matches this season.
Liu Chuang is ranked at 81 according to GSC. But anyway, I agree, it would be some achievment from him to quialify for the Crucible, and he might be able to stay on the Tour with this great run.

                        • Yes well I was looking at the WSA official provisional rankings and they are not updated until after a whole tournament is finished. He did win two matches in the qualifyers for the China Open.

Jimmy was a brilliant player, probably one of the most gifted ever and still is one of the greatest crowd-pullers. A lovable man, a true friend and good person in general. I think that this time he just tried too hard. Time to retire. Sad but...damn.. just sad...

I used to be crazy about him. About 7 years ago, my fiancé broke our engagement because I said I would elope with Jimmy any day, even the day of my wedding!! I was exaggerating, of course but “thanks to Jimmy” I noticed what an a******e I was about to marry!!!!!!...

I know it's nerdy but if the post quoted was out on in "real time" then it means that Jimmy lost 3 frames in 46 mins.
