Jimmy just doesn't have the nerves for this lark anymore!

      • Jimmy's going 9 - 3 down!

        He's getting steamrolled

        What did he enter for?

he should maybe get his slippers on and call it a day!

        A real pity!

        • Looks like its all over for Jimmy.

Parrot seems to be going strong today, and keeping it up, so to speak; 8-4 up now.

Dale back to within 1 frame @ 5-6

          • It's obviously that Jimmy can't do it anymore. That is the end i believe.

            • O, I think he still can play. It's the pressure he can't handle anymore. A lot of scars, too many maybe. He will still be in the main tour next season.

                • Poor Jimmy.

Credit to King though, he's obviously worked hard for today and deserves his place at the Crucible.

I believe Jimmy practiced hard too, maybe he just put too much pressure on himself today.

                    • Chuang is almost there 9-6 atm - he will have got through 5 qualifying matches if he can get one more frame of Dale. Could be going 9-7.....

                            • Is it just me or is it really unfair that Liang and Chuang are playing on the tables and arena they practice on week in week out and surprise, surprise they both look to have won.

Good point - definitely an advantage in playing in familiar surroundings and table.
However, Dominic Dale is hanging in there - looks like going 9-8 and anyone's game.

Joe Perry has taken 4 on the spin to get back to 8 apiece, although John Parrott is in first in the 17th frame. Two tight finishes. Come on John and Dominic.
