    • Liu Chuang wins 10-9. Well done - the kid hasn't even turned 18 yet!

          • Dominic couldn't finish off the comeback...Oh well, that often happens. Good effort, but I'm sure he'll be at the crucible to show off one of his outfits!

              • YES! - I had almost given up when it went 9-9. Now lets hope Chuang gets an easy draw. Not sure who that would be....

                • I remember ever watching a match of his at China Open a couple of years ago when he was 15 years old. He did pull off some very unbelievable potting. Seemingly he is some talent. And needless to say, how remarkable it should be to be qualified for the crucible when first year on the tour!

                  • Congratuation to Chuang! It was a good win at the end after been caught at 9-9.

He qualified for World Championship in his first season. However, he need win at least one match in Crucible to stay in the main tour next season.

Does anybody know how many players in the history had been qualified for the World in their first season? I think it is a question for our The Statman?
