Hendry-Allen, Higgins-Stevens, Ebdon-Cope and Ding-Fu are the toughest draws.
Ronnie, Murphy and Selby are the luckiest of them.
Yes I was forgetting Fu, on his form this season he is probably the toughest of all the qualifiers. Stevens though, im not so sure he's a tough draw at the moment, based on his recent form.
It looks pretty good for ronnie this year right up to the semis, (in complete contrast to his wall of death draw last year) but murphy and selby are likely to meet in the quarters.

Stevens seems to play better at the worlds than the rest of the tournaments and John is not at his best nowadays. I think it will be a close one.
Hendry will try to revenge his heavy defeat in the UK Champ agains Allen.
"There has only ever been Alex Higgins, myself and now Ronnie O'sullivan who play the game the way it should be played with such excitement - I know the fans love it this way" - Jimmy White
It is interesting that the "old boys" are in the upper part of the draw (Higgins, Stevens, Hendry, Ronnie, Williams, Lee, Doherty)
and the young ones are in the lower part (Robertson, Murphy, Maguire, Selby, Cope, Carter)

It's their ranking position isn't it?
Steve Davis would be flattered to read that remark.

I think Liu is not very happy. If he will lose with O'Sullivan he is out of tour.
I think only fair way for Chuang to stay in tour is to beat Ronnie. He has wildcard for this season already.
2 wildcards in a row is rather controversial decision.
His run in WC is impressive,he is young and tallented. But it will be simply unfair.
Many players with tallent never play in Tour,or they are fighting for place many years.
For example Craig Steadman. He never play in Tour.
Anyway....
I'm sure he'll destroy Ronnie.
Good luck Liu!
Very hard draw for old firms like Hendry, Ebdon and Doherty.
Ebdon will play against Cope also in China.
Looks like this year Champs should be passionate.
We have 29 players from top 32 current provisional ranking.
Only McCulloch,O'Brien and Dale are absent.
My match of the round Junhui-Fu.
It's so bad for Ding and Fu meet in the first round, but I am glad for Wenbo and Chuang, Wenbo in Chinese means "work hard and fight",Chuang in Chinese means "fight with no fear", so both young guys, go fighting and make something amazing.
Argh! Why does Hendry have to take on one of the two toughest qualifyers (Fu being the other). It's just not fair! On the other hand, Davis is definitely in with a chance!
I would say O'Sullivan is the biggest favourite in this round, with Selby and Murphy pretty close second. I'd be surprised to see any of the three biggest favourites to lift the trophy falling on the first hurde.

In Hendry-Allen and Ding-Fu, anyone can be the winner. There are a lot of possibilities for the second round from those two games.
