Would be nice but he couldn't. This will be a tough match and the one with the better mental strength will win it.

I thought most people did due to the Dale, Fu, O'Brien rule, especially after he beats higgins

I was like the performance to Hendry in the last tournament. And think that his good form is come back.

Allen has what it takes to beat anyone, but he still has to work on his mental side of the game.
I think he will do much better than Gilbert did last year agains Hendry. Should be a cracker.....

Ding will be out in the first round. Can't see him beat Fu. Tough draw for Higgins. It would be a cracking first round match against Stevens.

For a hendry fan, you are not very hopeful about his chances. As Anastasia mentioned he was back to some sort of form in the last tournament. Hopefully he can at least make a match of it against Allen, if he is getting back in the groove, theres no reason why he shouldnt win, regardless of how well allen may play.

Hendrys form in the last 3 or so tournaments has been really good, even in the matches he lost. at least really good compared with the last year or so results prior.

Allen is a rising star. I watched his match V Ken at the crucible and he played well, keeping the pressure on Ken

Id expect this match to go at least 17 frames

Interesting fact. Look at these head-to-head numbers, except Higgins and Stevens, all other pairs never meet each other more than 4 times....

While Bingham might have won 4-0 meetings aginst Steve- I think The Boss might be a lot stiffer opposition over 19 frames.

Remember the games Bingham has won has been the best of 9

If The Nugget comes out and plays he's got every chance. But if he misses lots of easy and mid range pots (as he often does these days) then even all his experience and tactics probably wont be enough to get him through.
