15-8, pretty weak Ronnie performance in that one.

I really really hope he pulls himself together and we get some nice frames of good snooker tonight. I'd wish so for him and for us as viewers."It's a massive achievement getting to the world final, but all I did was winning four snooker matches." Mark Selby

At 16-8 only a total mind collapse from Ronnie can help him."It's a massive achievement getting to the world final, but all I did was winning four snooker matches." Mark Selby

Well I think its fair to say that Ali could have had more impact on this final than his confidence at the beginning inclined. Now, when he's not under pressure, he plays decent and Ronnie is wavering a little. Still, he actually did win the session 5-3 despite giving so many chances away.
Anyway, Ronnies performance is in many ways linked to Carters. When Carter played bad and Ronnie felt he didn't really have to try very hard to win, his own game slumped. If Carter would have hit the floor running yesterday and gave him a run for his money all the way, Ronnies game would surely have been better as well.

well but to be fair, then we could also state that, if ronnie played like he did against hendry, ali would still have a tough job to do...

Some will disagree with me, but Ronnie looks rather disinterested. He was really up for the Hendry match, but not really for this one. Obviously, seeing your opponent struggling can have a bad effect on your game, and I think this happened to Ronnie as well.
He still played the better snooker, but the final is not a classic so far (and I don't think that will change).
