He's got a different temperament, but I wouldn't call it better. Ding is stoneface compared to this guy.
But from what we've seen so far, when Ding's under pressure he seems to crack. Although Wenbo shows more emotion, he was at least able to handle the pressure of the last frame.
"It's very, very hard to take," Swail said. "There was absolutely no way he could see the yellow. If that was the case why not play that shot in the first place?
"I'm absolutely fuming at that. I think it was a very unprofessional thing to do and I told him (Liang) that. I will have to look at it again but I'm 99% sure he could not see the yellow.
"Any player would be honest enough to say I can't see the yellow. When I put him back in I was taking it for granted he would come off the side cushion again."
The ball was moved very slightly, and he had the opportunity to say, but he didn't.
You play a long slow deadweight red to a corner pocket. As it approaches the pocket, a kamikaze woodlouse crawls out from under the cushion and makes its way across the table, conflicting with the path of the red precisely at the point the red gets there. The red, needless to say, veers off course, and the future of the woodlouse is uncertain. - The Statman

What a sore loser...
Perfectly understandable. If he won, he was in the Top 16 with Mark Allen dropping out. Other pro players would be honest about where the balls are and the ref should have paid more attention. Then there's the huge bounce off the cusion when Swail played for the black. Swail was hugely unlucky out there
Dings turning into a morning glory and I think today we saw the chinese number 1.
Its easy to go overboard with various players, but for me wenbo is the real deal.
Yes you can question his shot selection, but they also questioned Hendrys all those years ago.
For me he is blessed with the Hendry temperament and rarely have I seen a player looking so comfortable on the shot, this kid could really rule snooker.
Ronnies not going to have a bottler in front of him, this guy is scare proof and Ive a decent bet running on Ronnie, but Im not sure I will collect
Great interview with Ebdon in mondays Daily Mail, he says Hendry is the greatest player in snooker history and nobody has played the game to his standard. He says quite a lot and a great read for Hendry fans.
He says anyone who thinks that Stephen is not a contender for this title is deluded, He goes on to say that he has never played a player with so much class, bottle or determination.
Well I agree with all he says, and hope we see a little of the real Hendry even if it costs me my wager

I agree. I even heard a "come on Ronnie". I mean, what the hell? Someone's really been drinking too much.
Oh come on, they've been calling "Come on Jimmy" this year too. As long as they don't shout it while the player is on a shot, I don't see why anyone should be upset about that this much.

Would be great if you were right. For Liang is more interesting to watch as he shows some emotions. I think it is still too early to say whether he really has a better temperament though, after his success the pressure from outside (Chinese media etc.) is going to increase immensely, not to speak of the weight of his own expectations.

Please keep the hat on your head. I didn´t believe in that prediction at all It was most of all stating who I favoured. Actually before last session I thought Joe would win as usual, if it went into a decider.
So sad that match should have a loser.
