    • Quote of the day

Just thought i'd post the quote of the day from Ronnie, talking to Steve after his match: "Plenty of running, yeah. Forget the snooker."

      • Is it just me or does anyone else find Steve Davis irritating in the commentary box? Tries to hard to be funny and ends up being waffle!
Its not how well you play its how good you look playing that counts!

        • Yep, he should stick to the studio. I don't find him a good commentator at all.

            • Lightbulb fiasco

Anyone know why there's a lightbulb smiley? I find it amusing. Maybe Ferret thought of the lights above the match table and thought we'd need a bulb when the topic came up. The Boss is amused

i think its meant to be for when you have a 'bright idea'.

I thought it was for when information has come to light, like the schedule

                    Could be that too.

But whats the point of the snooker smiley then ? That could be added to most of the posts made on a snooker board.

I disagree. Sometimes you just see them coming a lot earlier, in fact Maguire went on record saying he was going for it from ball one yesterday. As hard as it is to establish intention, I'd say that as long as a player intends to go for the 147, it is a potential max.

@rambon - brilliant Bible quotes there!

Mark King doesn't read books. He stares them down until he gets the information he wants.
Mark King counted to infinity. Twice.
Mark King can win a game of Connect Four in only three moves.
If you spell Mark King in Scrabble, you win. Forever.
When Mark King falls in water, Mark King doesn't get wet. Water gets Mark King.
