Car Parking at the crucible

Anyone tell me where the best place to park at the crucible is? Usually come on train but we've got a car this year.

Going down on tuesday with one of them VIP packages. Anyone else had one of these? They said we are entitled to go in the lounge etc

are you staying overnight? if so your hotel may have a scheme to validate your parking ticket for a good fee.

if you are only going for the day there are a few car parks within walking distance (2-10 minutes walk) at varying prices

I would advice to manufacture a couple of BBC stickers and stick them on your car and park in between the vans they have parked at the backstage door.

If I remember rightly theres a multi-storey next door thats reasonably priced. Personally from Manchester the train is great 45 minutes and a 5 minute walk!!

Yeh took the train from Blackburn last year but a car is better!
