Thanks for the quick update chasmmi.

So Mark Allen survives all threats to retain his top 16 spot.

Amazing how things have turned out.

No further changes are possible now to who is in our out of the top 16, but Wenbo could still in theory make the top 32 and topple Dale.

And Wenbo claws his way up to 40th in the world. (25th on the 1 year list.)

        King back

King returns to the Top 16 after previously dropping out. A unique achievement shared with Perry and Swail. King has proven how good he is. Next season he will win a ranking event and prove the doubters wrong. I said don't write off King at the start of the season and he's proven me right

Ali needs to get into the semis to be safely in the top 10, am I right?

yes, unless Hendry also makes the semis AND Perry makes the final. Then Henry will stay ahead and Perry will leap him.

Winning the next match will be enough to leapfrog Ding if that is what you want to know.

There are a bunch of people who went out of the top 16 and then got back in. Steve Davis, Jimmy White, Marco Fu, Ali Carter, and so on. You need to get your information straight before posting it, mr. boss.

And as far as the rankings go:
Ronnie O'Sullivan is guaranteed the #1 spot.
Hendry is #6, unless Carter wins it.
Carter is #10. If he gets to the final he'll go up to 7. If he wins it he goes up to 6.
Perry can go up to 7 if he wins it. He'll stay 12th if he reaches the final and doesn't win.

So the top 16 is set for next year, not in order:

                Ronnie O'Sullivan
                Stephen Maguire
                Shaun Murphy
                Mark Selby
                John Higgins
                Stephen Hendry
                Ryan Day
                Peter Ebdon
                Neil Robertson
                Allister Carter
                Ding Junhui
                Joe Perry
                Graeme Dott
                Marco Fu
                Mark King
                Mark Allen

So with Ronnie having his 1st place assured I bet he will skip Shanghai Masters, Malta Cup and China Open again.

He will probably attend the Chinese ones but as we have seen he wont be taking them too seriously. If Malta is invitational it's guarenteed he will decline.

As an added thing I believe this is the one year list and hopefully shows how everyone is going to start the new season. Players with points still to score are in blue. This years top 16 is in green.
