I said Selby was overrated and wouldn't win the title - and thus i have been proven right, as Mark "Killer" King has knocked him out the tournament.

King is a real legend of the game - hard as nails, and twice as gritty.

It's a 4 way battle for the title now - Swail, King, Harold & Bingham.

The top 16 are dropping like flies as the qualifiers dominate proceedings.

The semis are going to be mouth-watering. If only Bjorn L'Orange was there!

Maguire is a good choice - he's been in 3 of the last 4 Ranking finals, but i'd go for Ebdon as a dark horse, or Selby.

As for Selby, no you aren't the only person who doubted him, I've said for a long while that he should enjoy the run he has been on because it would never last.
I don't like to make predictions, only makes you look silly when they don't come off. However, I'll predict one thing, none of the four players you mentioned will make it past the quarter final.

The Boss - I agree, but he won't play Ronnie. Chuang will defuse the Rocket in Round One, in the tournament of shocks.

Many seeds will fall in round 2, as the real contenders come through.

I'm not here for comedy - i just see past the so-called "big 4".

Swail is a dead cert for the Semi at least; his glory days of 2000 & '01 are coming back.

I concede Harold has problems, as he plays the luckiest man in Snooker in round one, but if he can get through, he'll be like a steam-train; nothing will stop him.

Mark my words - this time next week, we'll have seen some real shocks. The seeds are already dropping like flies.

Personally, i don't - and he's one of my favourite players. The move to Dubai can't have helped, and he's gotten nowhere in the last year or so. I think he might be out the top 16 in the next season - and i think he may retire then. Travelling over here for the qualifiers will be a bit much.

My agenda is nothing besides exposing your total inconsistency - you're entitled to your opinions, however outlandish, but I've never seen anyone contradict hs own opinions before now.
