The streaker was the same one from Ronnies 2004 final and is the same guy who does all the other sporting streaks. He comes from Liverpool and finds his way into the venue via one of the players friends.
Security at most of the venues is fairly lame especially at the worlds where ive known around 20 people to get in on the same two tickets. It just makes you wonder what damage someone could really do with a packed venue, lame checks and being live on TV to the world ?
I dont think the players can be seen to be amused with any behaviour like that as it would be see in the wrong light by world snooker and may be seen to encourage the actions

Dennis and WT seemed to be amused in the commentary, smiling at first, but then sensibly "changing" to 'not amused' mode

Yeah on the eurosport you could see everyting...

However, it makes me laugh but i don't think ali and ronnie enjoyed it very much

if it was a female streaker someone may have asked jokingly for a nosh

streakers can cause amusement, but i suppose at that time on tv, and in the audience there can be young folk watching. ok were all human, but theres a time and a place for that kinda thing.

Apparently the streaker is the first mention of snooker on the news in Norway since Maflin won the amateur world title.

The thing I find most annoying about this guy is that he actually doesn't work - so how does he afford to go to all the events just to streak! Shame he can't find something more interesting to do with his life!

Conclusion: he gets paid for it. Next question - who paid him for doing it on a world snooker championship?

I paid him 20p, how did the security dudes manage to get him out? Did they drag him out from under the table?

The best punishment for these streakers would be to sentence them to penis size reductions. Once they're stuck with tidlers they won't go showing them off in public.

I heard at The Crucible last night that the streaker (Mark Roberts) paid someone £100 for their final ticket and got in that way.

Wasnt as amusing last night as the first time he did it but i did get a picture of him under the table!

I know Goldenpalace.com paid him to do it at the Super Bowl some years ago, but as a clear competitor to 888 I'm not sure it would be them this time! :snooker:
