I've been down to the Crucible this afternoon and they said the booking forms will be in on Monday and sent out that day if you've put in an SAE. The deadline for getting them back is MONDAY 15 JANUARY so it'll be a tight turnaround again.

I remember a few years ago the booking form was included with a snooker magazine in december. I think it was snooker scene. I gather its not on as The snooker association and Clive Everton (snooker scene) are having a big row over the last couple of years. Is it included with Cue Sport?

I think they're doing a fantastic job getting the forms out so soon and giving people a whole week to get the forms in (minus the time for the forms to be posted out and minus the time for forms to be posted back). They wouldn't have known all the top 16 seeds for sure until the end of last year's World Championship (the early hours of 2nd May last year), so to arrange these on the booking form at the rate of 2 seeds a month over only 8 months would seem a really sterling effort.

Bit of irony Sir? I agree 200% with you. Even for overseas ticketpurchasers its more than a struggle. Last time they send it out and the form arrived on a thursday. Sending it back even on the same day meant it could never reach on the deadline, unless i book a flight on a saturday to hand it over to them personally. Quite farcical!

I agree! Quite ridiculous! There is absolutely no need for them to get the forms out by a Thursday when you don't need to fly until Saturday. I shall get in touch with World Snooker and suggest that they stop this overzealous efficiency and delay sending out the forms by a couple of days in future.
