You play a long slow deadweight red to a corner pocket. As it approaches the pocket, a kamikaze woodlouse crawls out from under the cushion and makes its way across the table, conflicting with the path of the red precisely at the point the red gets there. The red, needless to say, veers off course, and the future of the woodlouse is uncertain. - The Statman

Last year i received the form on a thursday, 4 days after they send it out. I have contacted the box office this morning and nearly asked the same question as you have stated here. This was their answer:
"I can only sincerely apologise we have been waiting for World Snooker to send us the booking forms, we can’t change the dates at all as that’s the agreement we have made with World Snooker. I can only suggest you make an official complaint to World Snooker through there website.
I can assure that as soon as we receive your application it will be processed as soon as possible and therefore you have a high chance of getting tickets."

Very intelligently, I stuck a 2nd class stamp on my SAE this year, so haven't got my booking form yet. (I couldn't find any first class stamps lying around at the time.) So hopefully I'll be on time to get tickets for the 2011 World Championship."If anybody can knock these three balls in, this man can."
