I'm going there with a friend for the 2nd round matches over the weekend of th 28-29th April, but still haven't booked a place to stay. Does anyone know what hotel the players stay at? Be cool to stay at the same hotel...Comment

Can help you there - macdonald st pauls right opposite the crucible. It's a lovely 4 star hotel - not cheap though!!Comment

My contact in Amsterdam Uni told me Sheffield Uni could not house all of them, I bet some are lodging at Hallam Uni. Thats why they want you to check again beginning of April. You could end up under a fly over!

How much does it cost to stay at the uni and where is it in relation to the crucible? I'm only going for a couple of days this year like I did last year mainly due to cost of accommodation but if there's a cheaper option fairly close to the crucible I'd like to go for longer next year - being a female I don't fancy getting across sheffield on my own late at night so I usually try and stay fairly close to the venue.Originally Posted by The StatmanComment
