Passakorn Suwannawat did well in the end to hold his nerve. He was 8-3 up before Roe levelled at 8-8. Good to see Higginson get through although I doubt he will qualify.

He would do very well to beat either Walden or Selby. But to beat both of them would be a brilliant performance. He has been unlucky to get about as tough a qualifying draw as he could possibly get. No relatively cushy John Parrots or Jimmy Whites for him.

Burnett made 4 centuries today, so Jimmy is gonna have a tough match.

Even so, Jimmy still has a good chance of winning this match.

Burnett has been in good form this season. During the Welsh Open one commentator said he has scored a huge number of centuries this season compared to previous seasons.

It's going to be tough for Jimmy.

He has to beat Burnett AND Bond though, which is going to be tough.

Has he won 2 consecutive games this season? TS?

Agreed! These are 2 tough matches for Jimmy. Strange to think that this could be his last chance to reach the Crucible.

It wont be a walk in the park thats for sure. But to be honest it is a relatively kind draw for Jimmy. He does stand a reasonably good chance of winning both matches and qualifying.

I mean it's not like he is playing the best up and commers in the field, where you might write him off with no chance atall, against Selby or Walden or Day for example.

True enough, but would be interested to know when he last won 2 consecutive games

he is actually on a winning streak of two from the china open qulaifiers beating Norman and Bond in order to reach the main stages.

I was just about to ask how the scores were progressing...

What are the numbers in brackets after each frame score?
