The last qualifying round runs from 12-15 March. Can we expect the draw for the First Round Proper to be made on 16/17 March? I think it should be made on Grandstand, rather than on Five Live - they made a mess of it last year.

More importantly, with the number of "big" names in the final qualifying round (Ding notably) is someone going to bite the bullet and televise it? Eurosport or the BBC or a combination should DEFINITELY be looking at this

But why not, it's a random draw. Someone from the top 16 will have to play Ding so why not Hendry, O'Sullivan etc

Last year it happenned on 16 March - I would think it will take place next weekend - perhaps on Friday, 16 March on Five Live or maybe later.
