Maybe not! Parrott makes a 78 break to make it four in a row this afternoon, from 3-6 down to 7-6 up.

Parrot makes an early 48 in the 14th frame – he leads 48-1.

Walden and Selby locked at 6-6.

And John Parrott is at the crucible yet again after winning 7 out of 8 this session. What a performance.

Selby is also 1 frame away form Sheffield.

And so the last of today's matches finishes with a 10-6 win by Mark Selby over Ricky Walden.

I feel David Gray should take a break/pack it in, because it's clear that he's mentally too weak to produce any result in competition these days..
I think he's taking a place away on the Main Tour from a young talent, or at least a hard working person who actually *wants* to achieve something.

Astonishing maybe, but not a lot more inaccurate than I have heard!

Apparently, more or less his own words, if a condition of entry to the tour was that you had to be drunk, he'd be the best player on the circuit.

I'm very surprised and very pleased that JP has beaten Gray. Surprised because Parrot has been totally without form or confidence recently.

Some might say that Gray is a lazy waste of space anyway. I wouldnt disagree. Neither would he probably.
