      Hendry the 8th,
Do you see the championships there in say a decade, or do you think they will be held in different countries in the years to come?

They have threatened to move away from The Crucible three times in the last 15 years. I think that the World Championship will be held there for many more years.

          Hi,

I agree, this does sound good, especially the upgraded seating, lighting and sound system.

Also, can't go wrong with improved hospitality, plus an overhaul of the bar and restaurant.

Feel good factor and all that....

Any idea what has happened to the billiard-dome idea? I think it had catchier name?

I'd hate for it to be moved - so much history linked with the place. the refurbishment works should help keep it there

I think its fantastic news - the crucible is a nice arena as it is but this will make it even better. Sounds like it's going to look amazing!

i agree it needs an update, especially the bar and restaurant. More comfy seats? does it imply a smaller capacity? The most needed improvement, more seats is lacking. Therefore the multimillion pound upgrade is cosmetic, not really an improvement. Why not extend it to row Z??!!

Also not included is an efficient handling and distribution off the booking form. Maybe this is a bit too much to ask for!!!
