  • So what will happen if both Rank16 and Rank17 player has same point? Both probably would considered as equal 16, however who is gonna make it into top16 seed? as it is possible with Steve and Matthew

      In case of tied ranking points there are various tiebreak procedures that come into effect to decide positions, the first of which, as far as I remember, is position on the one year list. Matthew Stevens would be ahead here if he got to the semi (currently he's slightly behind Davis).

        • Players on equal points at the end of the season will be ranked according to most points earned in the last season. Should this not determine positions, points in events working backwards from the World Championship will be considered. Finally, if still equal, frames won in losing final match would be used from events working backwards from the World Championship.
