I am really impressed by the way Judd is playing - you'd think he'd been playing at The Crucible for years. From what I have seen, I am certain he is going to be a wiinner in the future and he will be World Champion.
As you know, I am a Hendry supporter. When Stephen retires I was going to transfer my support to Paul Hunter. Sadly of course, we lost Paul last year, so it's more than likely that I will be supporting Judd Trump.
Even if he loses tonight, he has done superbly well.

He got a bit careless, I think, not thinking his shots through to the end. And Murphy's experience of course now comes into play.
Still, what an amazing difference the way Trump (and Allen) have played as opposed to Ding, for example.

Tense stuff in Maguire's match. Maguire needed two snookers got them, then Perry missed a very easy Pink before wrapping up the frame.

Hard luck to Judd Trump but well done.
His Crucible experience this year will stand him in good stead for the future and I'm sure he'll be back next year. He will have learnt that you can't go for everything, safety is important.
Stephen Hendry made his debut in 1986 and lost. Four years later, he was crowned World Champion - I wouldn't be surprised if Judd did the same, would you agree?

awww, he never came close anymore in the end...
still very gutsy playing by him, he moved a couple of places up in my favourites list (yeah and why not Miss Walker, if he wanted to be adopted, sure!. I would even move to England)
and again, have to grudgingly admit, Murphy did well in those last frames...

Great to watch Trump playing so well and attacking so much. He should have played a little more conservative at times, but it makes great snooker when he goes for everything! Murphy is a top player and I can't see JP disposing of him after a match like the one against Judd, but you never know!
