        The Austrian football commentary must be really bad then if Kalb seems like a blessing

                      I had to watch snooker with Rolf Kalb and Thomas Hein yesterday. It was a disaster! Anyway... the football is on the Austrian channel (not a sports channel). The ORF bought Champions League coverage for a few years, yet they forgot to hire people who can actually comment on the matches. As you might all be aware of, Austria's football expertise is far from satisfying (I know, big understatement!). Indeed, Rolf Kalb is a blessing compared to the football commentary and I say that in full awareness of what a pain in the arse he is!

                      To answer your question berolina, yes I do understand Dominic Dale well. Personally I feel that he hasn't got a strong accent or maybe I just understand the Welsh accent easily. Anyway, I really enjoy his commentating (but I mentioned that before ).

                      I don't care too much who wins out of Williams and Swail but if Milan wins against ManU just because you are watching it, then switch to whatever channel immediately.

                            Rolf Kalb just said this: "Well, we all know it's healthier to chew on carrots than on your fingernails". Not kidding.

                            One German commentator worse than Rolf Kalb is the guy on DSF, who show some of the snooker Premiere League. The guy can't even pronounce the players names and goes on and on about how much money they make when they win a frame ....
