    • Mark Williams won't break the no first round exits record then...
You play a long slow deadweight red to a corner pocket. As it approaches the pocket, a kamikaze woodlouse crawls out from under the cushion and makes its way across the table, conflicting with the path of the red precisely at the point the red gets there. The red, needless to say, veers off course, and the future of the woodlouse is uncertain. - The Statman

      • Good comeback Stephen, I hope now all is not so bad
Well played Selby, good comeback, and Lee played well too
Good win, Swail, my predictions that Williams won't be in good form were right

BTW have u noticed how many comeback were in this tournament?!

No, I am happy about it too, and not just because I predicted him to win. He deserved the win, he was the better player out there. And the smile on his face when he potted those last balls... priceless

I'm just getting ready for another long day in front of the 'puter. I've set up the DVD recorder, so hopefully it will work and hopefully Eurosport will work with me and not against me. That goes for BBC too.

              • i'd predicted a Williams win as i love his style of play but he didn't produce the snooker he's capable of...Swail vs Maguire, who would be your pick? maguire seems to regaining his form, his long potting was tremendous

                • I fancy Maguire in that one too. Swail's always a hard man to beat but then, so is Perry. Maguire on form is a top 4 player, a class above either Joe I think.

                  • Yeah, I am hoping for Maguire as well. It is nice to see him in good form again...
But well done to Swail yesterday, I left the game at 7-7 (was it?) but Swail looked the better player at that time.

I am of course very anxious to see, what Hendry has to dish up for today (a few more minutes now)

and yes, finally also Robertson into the action (hope that goes well!)

same here, he's got a very exciting game (on a personal note though, i hate it when he beats Ronnie )

yeah me too - One of my favs with Ros and Davis. I think Robertson is definitely to be considered as the major obstacle to Osullivan on his way to the title. There were already more than interesting clashes between those two.
I saw that going differently in my mind

quite true. Ronnie's disposed off Ding now, Robertson up next (i'd fancy his chances against Day..) i think Robertson will prove a tougher opponent, Ronnie will have to be at his best

                              Better!

                              5-all now.

Robertson and Day both seem to have some first-frame-Crucible nerves to overcome. First frame 26-18. Robbo's at the table.
