    • Hendry v Gilbert 6-5

Gilbert looks a bit out of shape now.

Stephen's not really being a good poster boy for his new cue, is he? *sighs*

            • Currently its 9-7 to Hendry, looks like he is sneaking over the line!

Meanwhile, Robertson leads Day by 5-2!

              • Yes! "I" lost! Congrats to Hendry and to Snookersfun.

Hendry has some work to do before his next match, I'd say... Not really his best performance.

                • Hendry is through to the next round after quite some battle, doesn't look good for him to get his 8th title....
I keep my fingers crossed for Neil Robertson now, I want thim to lift the trophy.

                  • 10-7! I like how he plays more safeties now, but his scoring is down.

                    • Hendo!
Not his best performance but a win is awin and as I don´t think he´ll be able to play well for five matches it´s very nice he was able to win despite playning poorly. And remember, a few big names are already out!

And... from 1-5 down he went 9-2, that is good at this level!

Yay, did 'we' do well or not! Happy that Hendry did not let me down, a bit shaky, but he will pick up pace...

and yes Robertson to win! This one first and then all the way to the final (although it's against Ronnie, I might change my mind on the day of that game, depending on who plays the better snooker then)
                        ohoh 5-3 now...

                        • Hendry is the consumate proffesional. He will know excactly where he went wrong in this match, and will try to fix it, how much further he goes depends on how successful he is at that

                          • Day gets a century on the board! 5-3 now! As long as Robertson stays ahead I fancy him to win this match as he is a good front runner. However if Day gets in front then i would back him, not sure about Neil's comeback skills.

                            • An altogether calmer performance from Hendry, for good and bad. Some sensible shot selection won him frames he probably wouldn't have ordinarily, but on the other hand I think there was a lack of adrenaline that perhaps took the edge off his potting and scoring. Perhaps it's the opponent? He did a radio interview that was on the BBC earlier saying that it was difficult to get fired up when he 'wouldn't recognise Dave Gilbert if he was sat next to him'.

                              Anyway, he's still in it.

                              • I still haven't watched Hendry's game from yesterday (taped it while at work) but today I was disappointed, esp in the beginning... Gilbert didn't strike me as sth special, so it was even more surprising that Hendry had fallen behind so!
Just as I was thinking all that, Hendry picked up a bit and managed to win, much to my relief.
He will have to adjust his game tho, cause this kind of performance doesn't win you a championship!

                                PS: Good job Snookersfun!
