There's some classic JP optimism . I know what you mean, but they'll have had a timely interval each I'd say.

Anyway, Murphy's in again, looks like 5-3 is on the cards. I don't think John should be too upset about that, after a poor first 4 frames it's not a bad result.

Looking at the matches now, I feel that I might've been over-estimating Ali Carter a tad... he showed better form yesterday! He's lost the edge from yesterday, and Hicks seems to have recovered. It's a bit of a snoozefest ATM (both matches).

There was a cooking show on the stream for a while, twas quite good and now I'm hungry!

The first two frames in the Hamilton vs McCulloch match had plenty of missed chances! There seemed to be a number of shots where I would have been disappointed to miss and even with the pressure of the crowd, TV cameras and venue, I was shocked to see so many balls go astray. Hopefully it'll improve once the players get into the match a little more!
