Swail miscued, missed the green and left himself snookered, repeatedly missing the reds. Mags got in again on a nice and easy red and has now taken his first frame. 2-1 to Swail.

JP and Murf are continuing sharing table time quite equally, with JP at 23 and Murphy at 31 in the 10th frame.

Little report of the JP-Murf

Frame 11:
Murf breaks off. Leaves red to corner pocket. JP pots. Yellow to follow, and a longish red to the other corner pocket, which pots and so on and so forth.
Table's looking nice and open. And he missed the black.

Murf misses and opens the reds even more.

JP is back at the table, 19 points so far.

maguire is favourite to take frame 4 and level the score at 2-2

potentially a cracking match....with the other one more than interesting too

We're picking up as Swail pots a longish red to the yellow corner, on a break of 20. And he blew that, missing a straightforward blue.

Mags is let in into the middle of the reds, with the black tied up by one red, blue nearly where it belongs and pink cuddling brown.
Tries to develop the black and misses the pot, though the black is now available. Shakes his head profusely and enjoys some Highland Spring.

Swail pots a red and leaves himself with some awkward bridging for the black to the left bottom corner, thus missing it.

And Mags is back again, gets black back home and the reds seem quite straightforward, except for one at the bottom cush.
Yellow and green have left their spots. 32 - 21 now and Mags has every chance of 2-2.
