    • What a great advantage it is for Neil to level with Ronnie now and go to their last session with having already won one session today!

Hopefully the last session will turn into the great match we were all expecting after the two first frames!

      Ronnie O'Sullivan v Neil Robertson 8-8

Finished off with a great break of 140
Das war ein FLUKE! Ein Glückstreffer!

      • I reckon robertson is favourite now,I backed ronnie to win it but not to confident now that he can get through.I hope i,m wrong but to lose a 6-2 lead is a big blow.

        • I'm back from Sheffield after watching three sessions over the weekend including the first session of ROS v Robertson yesterday. Today I am stuck in the university library trying to work whilst constantly checking for BBC Sport updates, because live streaming doesn't work on this connection. Seems that BBC aren't too good at updating the scores - I heard that it's 8-8 here first. Is it still 8-4 between Selbo and Ebbo?

On an unrelated matter mentioned briefly in this thread, I noticed three fire engines with flashing lights outside the stage door when on my way to the station last night, but it seems that the place didn't get evacuated? Was it just that the fire alarm got set off?

Maybe just someone announced that Stephen Maguire was in the building?

8-5 now. "He [Ebdon] is moving along at his normal pace, two pots per minute." Why don't you try the live score over at WSA or the Global Snooker Centre?

The fire alarm did go off, but the building wasn't evacuated, something I find totally irresponsible, but hey, they're just snooker fans

                • Live scoring has certainly come on a bit since when I last used it! It's becoming quite a morning, shame I'll miss most of tonight - may have to make do with the highlights. I'm glad I didn't pay £10 to see this afternoon's session though!

Stephen Maguire! The building is on fire!!

                      Any thoughts?
I think someone is counting their chickens a little bit early. I think Maguire, Stevens, Carter and Robertson might have something to say about that!

I expect the winner of Ronnie vs Robertson to go over Higgins and remain the top favourite for the title. Though carter was impressive yesterday so he could eventually be the surprise
I saw that going differently in my mind

                        • 6-9 now between Ebdon and Selby.

I do hope Ronnie finds his touch again tonight, nothing against Robertson but I will be in Sheffield for the next two days to watch the quater final between Higgins and Ronnie/Neil and I've had my heart set on a Ronnie-Higgins match since I got the tickets!

PS, who else will be in the arena for that match?

                          • Not looking too good for Ebdon, 10-6 to Selby at the end of the session.

                            • Selby got 3 centuries in a row
You play a long slow deadweight red to a corner pocket. As it approaches the pocket, a kamikaze woodlouse crawls out from under the cushion and makes its way across the table, conflicting with the path of the red precisely at the point the red gets there. The red, needless to say, veers off course, and the future of the woodlouse is uncertain. - The Statman

                              • In all the excitement of Hendry's 'comeback' it seems to have slipped us by that Higgins won through with a 13-4 scoreline!
