Well, what a complete collapse by Stevens. Must be the low point of his career.

Both Mags and Ali Carter are off to flying starts, it seems, both on 70+ breaks. Mags is - again - en route for a 147. Kids are expensive, aren't they?
Edit I: Harrumpf! He broke down on 12 reds, 12 blacks... baaaaaaad psish. But lots of showmanship
Edit II: Aaaaaand Carter just nicked his HB of the tournament with a lovely 144.
Edit III: Am I the only one watching?!
Mags v Hamilton 11-7
Carter v Selby 5-5Das war ein FLUKE! Ein Glückstreffer!

Superb opening pot by MaguireYou play a long slow deadweight red to a corner pocket. As it approaches the pocket, a kamikaze woodlouse crawls out from under the cushion and makes its way across the table, conflicting with the path of the red precisely at the point the red gets there. The red, needless to say, veers off course, and the future of the woodlouse is uncertain. - The Statman

Mags wins the final session 4-0, the match 13-7, without Anthony Hamilton potting one ball in this last session, and only having had one decent chance at doing so.
4 centuries, one go at a max that broke down at 96 and possibly the most unanswered points in a match ever at the Crucible. I'm sorry, but I have to say it: Maguire's on fireDas war ein FLUKE! Ein Glückstreffer!

Eurosport really has me furious once again - GOLFING and YACHTING in "The Wedensday Selection" sponsored by Rolex It's not live or anything, you'd think they'd be able to show it AFTER today's LIVE matches
