This is all we have been waiting for! The Higgins - O'sullivan clash. I have witnessed two finals live. The Masters 2005 when Ros displayed pure snooker art. I never forgot that frame he won with the blue. And of course the 2006 Masters Final, the farewell we had at The Wembley Conference, when John won it in brilliant fashion to claim the last frame ever played there!!
lagermike,
how fitting, he had the devilish look didn't he? Higgins is class, but its ROS for me
I agree zong, the key match was today for him - but we saw 2 ronnies , the one in the evening will have no problem; the one in the morning could loose so see and wait

true he can get past anybody now ; and NR what a player he is, I put him high on my list too and the way he can play O sullivan is fabulous.
I just think Higgins would capitalize more on the mistakes Ronnie made all through the match, i.e. his non-existant long potting, terrible break-off and leaving reds lying about. Robbo went for most of them but didn't see it through. Higgins would.

you're being very accurate abt what he's done wrong here..now i have a bit of doubt. yes, he needs to play better. And he will
Miss Walker is spot on - Ronnie has got to start getting the long pots and nailing a decent break off or Higgins will spank him.
I have a feeling though, that Ronnie will be a lot better against Higgins...
Ronnie seems to be on a revenge mission this tourney - he owed Ding and Robertson one and now he owes Higgins one for the 2005 grand prix and the 2006 masters finals...

the same thought has crossed my mind - and what if Dott was still around
BTW: I thought Neil's game was excellent today. Just Lady Luck striking... it could have gone either way and if Robbo had won that would have been utterly deserved!
