      • I am one happy camper rigth now, what an AWESOME match! Toss of the coin for a long time, cracking snooker all in all. Phew!

Now Ronnie vs. Higgo is gonna be one cracker of a match. The pace picketh up, as it were...

Marcel Proust had an haddock! If you're calling the author of 'A la recherche du temps perdu' a looney, I shall have to ask you to step outside!

        • This is all we have been waiting for! The Higgins - O'sullivan clash. I have witnessed two finals live. The Masters 2005 when Ros displayed pure snooker art. I never forgot that frame he won with the blue. And of course the 2006 Masters Final, the farewell we had at The Wembley Conference, when John won it in brilliant fashion to claim the last frame ever played there!!

I agree zong, the key match was today for him - but we saw 2 ronnies , the one in the evening will have no problem; the one in the morning could loose so see and wait

              • I disagree - Ronnie needs to get a touch better or Higgins will make mincemeat out of him... still, looking VERY much forward to that match!

                      • I just think Higgins would capitalize more on the mistakes Ronnie made all through the match, i.e. his non-existant long potting, terrible break-off and leaving reds lying about. Robbo went for most of them but didn't see it through. Higgins would.

                          • Miss Walker is spot on - Ronnie has got to start getting the long pots and nailing a decent break off or Higgins will spank him.

I have a feeling though, that Ronnie will be a lot better against Higgins...

Ronnie seems to be on a revenge mission this tourney - he owed Ding and Robertson one and now he owes Higgins one for the 2005 grand prix and the 2006 masters finals...
"And slowly and surely they drew their plans against us"

the same thought has crossed my mind - and what if Dott was still around

BTW: I thought Neil's game was excellent today. Just Lady Luck striking... it could have gone either way and if Robbo had won that would have been utterly deserved!

And then Ebdon in the final for revenge of the 'slow' quarter final a couple of years ago!
