I'll be glad when this session is over, and I'm sure the players will be as well. I'm sure it's gonna be much much improved tomorrow, it has to be, really.
Do you think the two of them are sort of cancelling each other out? Game- & nerves-wise? I've rarely seen such bad long-potting and concequently fouling by either of them...
Just to wrap this up officially: 6-2 overnight.
Marcel Proust had an haddock! If you're calling the author of 'A la recherche du temps perdu' a looney, I shall have to ask you to step outside!

i thought ronnie was not at his best but robbo started to lose abit of confidence after that missed blue..stil ronnie looks very willing to grind it out even in the safety battles..
I see it as one player collapsing and the other playing good enough to pick up the pieces.
And to think this was supposed to be the toughest draw anyone has ever got....so far his two opponents have been more name than substance.
I was thinking along the same line. Not spectacular, not even more than decent standard from Ronnie, but solid enough. As for Robertson...boy does he know how to escape devilish snookers or what? Amazing. And how to pot those long ones in? Whoa!
Is this a parallel universe? I've enjoyed Ronnie's safeties more than his potting? What the heck?
That being said...quite bad break-off shots from Ronnie. Long potting hasn't worked today. Average positional play. Escaping snookers hasn't worked either. But there was a lovely fluke. And an even lovelier ton to finish the session. *smiles*
I think it's partly due to the long break these two have had. Ronnie's had 6 days off and Robertson 3. But only partly.

really sums up this session for me, black_cat. spot on
So osullivan playing at half capacity and still beating the top favourites Ding and (almost) Robertson easily. Just imagine what it will be if he goes full speed. It' s not rubbish, let's say not that rubbish as the higgins match yesterday evening.

its not. the break building for first two frames was superb, the safety battle in the third was the best of the lot. as black_cat put earlier, how the hell did Robbo get out of that snooker behind the pink, and how the hell then did he manage to miss that blue?? that frame alone was worth watching the session
the rest, the bbc stream or my connection failed me, all i got was bits and pieces, almost tore my hair out.
