I can understand that Ronnie fans are slightly disappointed, but I think this is great for snooker in general. Regardless of who wins the match, both (especally Neil) have shown they can produce snooker of the highest quality in a real pressure situation. There is no doubt in my book, Neil has been the man in form this season, even if he was to lose the match 13-8.

I think Ronnie was saved by the bell here, Neil was really buzzing at the end of the session. As it's Walpurgis Night over here I'm forced to have a late night out, drinking alcohol, instead of watching the evening session...

No, not at all, he tried his best and wasn't playing that poorly actaully, he just didn't play his very best game and Neil did.

I wouldn't say that, it was Neil who didn't give Ronnie a chance to care or not to care about safety

Neil attacked the balls and took almost all his chances.

ROS only had a lash at one shot, and there really wasnt a safety to play....

just good play from NR, keeping ROS in his seat mostly, and not bad play from ROS

yes, that's the way it looked to me. I didn't manage to see a whole lot, just got back home, lunch to make etc., this whole session seemed to just whizz by (anybody know how long it actually took?).
But Neil certainly couldn't miss a ball, even that 140 break wasn't straigthforward. Wasn't it, when he basically snookered himself slightly behind the black on the spot only to simply take it into the green corner? +several other scary shots, e.g. last yellow was in no perfect position either.
Seems like those two switched places over night.
But I have to say Ronnie didn't look half as terrible today as Neil yesterday.

My being "hysterical" only labels me as such and don't know what concern it is of yours. So please get off your high horse, if that's possible, obviously. I've never claimed I was an unconditional fan of snooker. And that also labels me, as well. I can live with it, too.

So osullivan playing at half capacity and still beating the top favourites Ding and (almost) Robertson easily. Just imagine what it will be if he goes full speed. It' s not rubbish, let's say not that rubbish as the higgins match yesterday evening.

well, it wasn't suppose to be easy at the first place. Robertson must also be in a good state of mind to come back like this and I saw osullivan miss some decisive long pots. But this Robertson is quite remarkable and playing fluently and fast, his style must have frightened Ros in some way as well.

i'm glad to hear that, if he's not playing too bad and in the right frame of mind when the chances come, he's stil in it. NR is a frightening potting machine
