Yup, it was unnecessary, considering the great session I just watched! Only a couple of instances of really bad luck prevented the score from being slightly better, from the viewpoint of a Hendry fan. Carter was the better player today, though, so a deserved lead for him.

Ali did bottle it quite severely against ROS in China, so - for his sake - I hope he has gotten over that. For Stephen's sake I hope he hasn't

Jokes aside, Carter played well today, and I expect him to do as good in the next session, so Hendry needs to rise to his best game. I understand in the 8 times they have played each other, they have each won 4, and although I like Carter, I don't want him to make this his 5th win.

I still don't like missneworleans' sarcasm. Does predicting a score give you the right to be nasty? Anyway, this may be just me being hypersensitive...

I was really impressed with Ali Carter's game today, especially his long potting was amazing!

I was also really disappointed with Hendry's game today, especially his (non-)positional play. And that one missed brown toward the end

I'm sure though the score will even itself out in the long run! Will continue to be an intersting match!

I think Hendry has to end the next session at 7-9, or at the very least 6-10. Then i think he'll have a chance to catch up with Ali when he inevitably chokes at the end. If he's too far behind Ali might be able to fall over the line.

She's not being nasty at all IMO. It's true,Hendry's not been playing well enough to beat Carter.
I've had to read much worse things about my favourites....

............thanks for working out stats and a 5-3 frame could be possible, methinks, but I'm always optimisitic . And I'm sure Stephen knows how much support there is for him, and can't think of the term, 'cosmic something', when you wish for something in life, and it comes true...

yepp thats what i was thinking.. If he can win the first 2 frames tonight and get a bit confidence then i think he still has a good chance in this match...
