Hi,

.........and another match I'm looking forward to, Stephen v Ali in the final 16.
Does anyone know when this match will be taking place?

Think it will be a difficult one though, and divided loyalties for me as I'm a big Hendry fan, although Ali is a great player too.

Ali had the advantage in the Malta Cup [5-4], so could be a close one, and hoping for a great match ....

Ali said in his press interview...."it's just nice to be competing in the tournament, and playing the master..." - great comment..

Can't wait, and another great match to look forward to....

First session is tomorrow at 14.30, second session is Sunday at 19.00 and final session is Monday at 14.30.

Ali started off very well in his first session, didn't play quite as well in the second, but then again, Stephen wasn't really the frame animal in his first round match. I did predict Ali to win, but that was before the last session of his first round match was played. I don't know. I'd like Hendry to get through, but...

Hendry will need to uplift his form to win Carter now. Ali is playing very solid snooker, and wilt kind of play what Hendry showed in match with Gilbert he won't have any chance against Carter. But anyway looking forward this match, as although Hendry is my 2nd favourite and this maybe interesting match also

Yes, it´s difficult to tell. But I think, that Gilbert really messed up the balls all of the time and its not easy to play fluent with no colour balls on the spot. I think the Carter - Hendry game will have more high breaks.

Carter definitely played better overall out of the two players in Round One, but I can see Hendry with all his experience at the Crucible coming out on top. I would love to see a close match with plenty of tension and hopefully some good snooker in the mix too!
