Just a quick communication this one!
It was a good job that the fire alarm that went off at ten to three in the morning was followed by a day with no morning session!
Richard Beare continues to add to his list of gaffes this morning! There is a duo raising money for the Paul Hunter Foundation and another charity, by doing a 48-and-a-bit-hour snooker marathon in the CueZone marquee. He mentioned it yesterday, and again today now that they have just passed the 40-hour mark. He said they were tiring and would be grateful for our support so would we pop in there and spur them on – "your support will be [hesitation] invalid to them." I presume he meant invaluable.
Anyway, after a very wet start it is now sunny here and John Parrott has just levelled the match 8–8 with Shaun Murphy. Should be an interesting evening.
Other than that there's just time for me to issue my usual valediction...
