Honelstly guys i dont think ive seen a worse standard of play ever in a professional televised snooker mtach! These guys have been missing absolute sitters and ive seen better down my local club!

Well its a tense match, there's always a lot of mistakes in those kinds of matches. Looks like they as good friend fixed match result and forget who has to win

It is painful to watch and I am truly happy that the match will come to an end sometime today, preferably when Ian wakes up and rattles off 5 tons, to give the audience in Sheffield and at home a small compensation for having stayed awake for the first 16 frames.

I've actually enjoyed watching it - its not the best snooker (by far!!) but its certainly exciting - as the commentators said you never know what will happen next (well actually you do, the white will go in, they'll miss cue etc etc). I hope that both players are back to their best this morning though - not only for the audience but to give whoever does win a bit of confidence going in to the next round.

I agree, tearjerker first class. I never had anything with both players, though Ian did well to reach the semis a couple of seasons ago. The punters should get a refund and compensation for this ordeal!

i dont mean its should be a game like, whallop, bang, centuries all the time, but some basic standards can be asked for if your in the worlds.

Before the tournament started, i put a bet on that either ali carter will get to the final, and a bet that shaun murphy will win it!!
