I asked my mother to watch for a while, to see how Higgie was better than Ronnie. While she was watching, Ronnie was doing great. She said it was because she likes him. I asked her to watch the news instead!

And no, Ronnettes, I will not ask my mum to watch the last session!

        But not close enough

Anyway, I thought somebody said that matches like this one when one player doesn't play his best and gets beaten are boring

The first 4 frames of the session Ronnie was playing disgracefully, and Higgins was getting so many chances.

After the mid-session interval, Ronnie woke up and looked a totally different person, but all credit to Higgins, he matched him and bettered him.

At the end of the day those first 4 frames today will decide the outcome of the match, similar to the Dott semi final last year. When will Ronnie learn/care that he cant play like that and expect to get away with it.

Ronnie was just playing bad, not disgraceful. Then Jimmy is disgraceful for just keeping playing in Main Tour, Hendry for not getting to the world QFs for several years in a row... Should we extend the list?

or maybe Robertson showed his disgraceful play when missed that frameball pink and completely lost the plot afterwards?

indeed pretty boring compared to Robertson_ Osullivan.
Higgins doesn't have to play well to beat him - Is this Osullivan's C-game , didn't now he had
I saw that going differently in my mind

7-1....what a demolition derby from Johnny!!! He played beautifully, full of poise, calm, confident...I just can't see him losing this match. Ronnie looks to be completely out of his game...

I'd say it's his Z game, though in Latvian alphabet there is even one more letter to follow Z

Worzel Ronnie, dear, get your eyes open and watch carefully which game you are taking from that shelf in the morning

Ken Doherty could make a comeback against Higgins, though not as big as Ronnie is required to and he's known as the king of comebacks. Anyway, if Ronnie can show just a frame of his brilliant play, would be great.

if he had kept the last frame he had half a chance but he now has to win 8-1 and thats a tall order against one of the best players ever to pick up a cue!

I think if you cut off higgins left arm he would still be in the semi's!

I wasn't able to watch the game - APRIL, get your rug out! Check you've got the correct worzel! Though no way will John lose this now. I'm hoping for a bit of a nicer scoreline though... *'ere's 'oping*

Must be Ronnie was more motivated to beat Ding and Robertson
