lol Miss W, be brave, you see where it has led Murphy

seeing as our hockey team unfamously lost to the italians, can this be considered italian day and that would mean Ronnie will win this?

John was just much better than him.
You play a long slow deadweight red to a corner pocket. As it approaches the pocket, a kamikaze woodlouse crawls out from under the cushion and makes its way across the table, conflicting with the path of the red precisely at the point the red gets there. The red, needless to say, veers off course, and the future of the woodlouse is uncertain. - The Statman

Higgins playing better than Ding and Robertson is of course the other alternative, and the one I personally tend to stick to...

And I'm very glad that Higgins is my second favorite player, as I've got all my hopes on him now (well, after this evening's session, that is )

As I said before the Robertson game, Ronnie is great from in front but pretty poor from behind. He isn't very strong mentally and IMO I reckon he has conceded this match already in his mind. Unlike Murphy who has a lot of bottle, Ronnie really lacks in this area and Higgins is one of the toughest match players ever. Higgins will win this comfortably tonight, the big question is... Will Ronnie give his cue away to someone in the audience afterwards?!!

Don't think so, cueman, Ronnie has made comebacks earlier, and surely he is quite strong psychologically - at least he can cope with pressure and can win matches purely based on that, the one vs Neil was just a fine example. He is not bad because he is behind in frames, but rather contrary, he is behind because he was playing bad this morning. If he cannot find his game asap, of course he won't win.

Ronnie must win the first three frames of the final session to really have a chance....
I wish him best of luck (not that I dislike Higgins, but I want to see Ronnie against Smurphy in the final )
                          Come on Jimmy!!!!

Maybe Mr. O'sullivan should change his cue. Serious though.

Is a player allowed to change his cue during a match? In golf it is not allowed, so i wonder.

And Murphy getting thrashed by Higgins is not dead on. Todays win will have given him some morale, imo!
